wonderful riverside stay

smooth check-in spacious room excellent shower

I had a really nice stay of 4 nights. the check-in was smooth and the staff was super helpful and kind. my room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and an excellent shower. i also enjoyed the short walk to the riverside park. It was so peaceful.

the wifi was a little spotty in my room.

friendly staff spacious room amazing breakfast broken sign untended lawn musty smell

the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and clean with a double and a single bed. the breakfast was amazing!!!

the sign to the lodge building was broken. the lawn has not been tended for years. the room smells musty.

Adequate Stay Near Hadrian's Wall

The location suited my plans for walking near Hadrian's Wall. I liked the building character and the outdoor area. Dinner tasted good and provided acceptable value for the money. The staff accommodated my late arrival.

Rooms are a little dated and needed a refurb. The price reflected this, but still.

a somewhat disapointing visit

missing tap knob very tired room

the pub next to the rooms was acceptable, because it was separated from the rooms.

the room looked very tired. on arrival, i found that the cold water tap knob was missing. i told staff about it, but when i left a couple days later, it was still missing.
